Cathedral Spiral Hike 11/13/08, 10/20/10 & 12/10/14
This 4.5 mile roundtrip hike is a sharp ascent.  It went up 2042 feet
in 2 miles or a 19% grade.  This album also includes the Dome Hike.
Cathedral Spiral from the north
west has a spiral affect.
There are huge boulders.
The trail included climbing
under rocks.
On the summit after a precarious

The boulders are huge even near
the trailhead.
Some are balancing rocks.
Near the summit almost requires
technical climbing.

At the summit the boulders are

To the north was a huge dome.  
We called this the Dome Hike.
