Bridal Veil Falls Hike 8/20/2015
Bridal Veil Falls is located north of Estes Park in Rocky Mountain NP.  It
is a 7.12 mile roundtrip hike with a vertical change of 973'.  The trail was
named Cow Creek Trail.

We begin the 3.5 mile hike back.
A very fat chipmunk finds
Joanne.

Trailhead of the Cow Creek trail
which brings us to Bridal Veil
Falls.
Near the trailhead there are  
cabins and barns.
Back in the open area with a view
to the southeast.
Another split and then we are in
forest.
The first half mile is in open
meadow.
hike to the right.
Joanne comes to two pines in
the trail.
Mountain to the north.
Two crossings
The most difficult part of the hike.
Approaching the Bridal Veil Falls
the trail is very rocky.

The view to the east.

We come across a unusual tree
stump.
After 7 miles we arrive back at
the parking lot.
