Kenosha Pass Hike 10/28/08
This Colorado Trail hike of 5.94 miles was located in the Northwest portion
of Indian Creek Wilderness.  The colors for fall 2008 were over.  We came
back in 2009.  The last 4 photos of the slideshow are from 09/27/09.
The hike follows a ridge for a
great view. (2008)
The South Park Valley lies to the
west. (2008)
The Lost Creek Wilderness lies
to the east and south. (2008)
This is a very easy hike with a
dirt path and very little climbing.

The view to the south was a
mixture of Aspens and pine. (2008)
The hike was at 10,000 feet but
the vertical change was only 213
feet. (2008)
September 2009 we came back
to find the Aspens still with
color.  See the last 4 photos of
the slideshow.
In 2009 the color was
approaching peak.
