Mt Bancroft Lakes Hike 8/12/2011
This hike was to 4 of the lakes by Mt. Bancroft.  This 2.83 mile hike
of 283 vertical feet was in the peak of the wildflower season.  Mt.
Bancroft is located just south of Mofatt Tunnel.  The four lakes are
Loch Lomond, Reynolds, Stewert and Lake Ohman.
Loch Lomond Lake is fed by a
huge waterfall.

There were many fields of
wildflowers.
Reynolds Lake is the first lake
aboveLoch Lomond Lake.  
Lake Ohman is the smallest of the
four lakes we hiked to.
Even in August there are still
snow bridges on the north side
of Mt. Bancroft.
