Hike Castle Rock 04/28/11 and 10/25/2013
This is a hike up the prominent mesa rock that overlooks the city of
Castle Rock.  It was a 1.4 mile circular hike with a vertical change of
254 feet.  The highest altitude was 6,486 feet.

Castle Rock is made up of a very
soft rock.  This is the trail around
the rock on the northeast side.
The trail is well built and
very easy. (large)
