Herman Gulch to CDT
These 2 hikes (2012 & 2016) went up the Continental Divide Trail
(CDT) from Herman Gulch.   We went 1.5 miles east from where the
trail split.  Both hikes went to the same ridge.

On September 14, 2016 we attempted to go up the Continental Divide Trail (CDT) from
Herman Gulch to the un-named mountain that we reached in the Jones Pass South
CDT hike.  We only got as far as the first time we tried in 2012.
The Aspen trees were beautiful
at the Trailhead.
The brush had received a killing freeze.
The Moose were eating nonstop.
The trail comes to a fork with the
CDT going to the right and the
left trail going to Herman Lake.
