South Boulder Peak Hike
Besides hills there are mountains located in the foothills.  This is a tough
hike.  It was a
9.6 miles roundtrip hike from 5671 to 8549 feet for a vertical
rise of 28
78 feet.  The start is from the South Mesa Trailhead.  All photos
are from 10/14/2009 unless noted otherwise.
The trailhead located near the
entrance of Eldorado Canyon
near Boulder.
The rock called "The Devil's
Thumb".
There were many boulders along
the trail.
