Hanging Lake State Park 2006/2012
The park is located near Glenwood Springs.  The lake is at the top
of a 500 foot cliff. It is a 3.2 mile hike with a vertical climb of 981
feet.  There are two hikes, one in 2006 and the other in 2012.

Hanging Lake is located at the
top of a cliff.  This is half way up
that cliff.
Glenwood Canyon bicycle trail

There is one man made shelter
along the trail.  It has a hole in the
roof from falling rock.
