Royal Gorge Trainride Album
This slideshow features a trainride through the 20 mile Royal Gorge
Canyon. It is located 100 miles south of Denver near Canon City
Colorado.
The train of the Royal Gorge
Trainride has open as well as glass
covered train cars.
The bridge is 1260 feet
long.  It is used only for
foot traffic as a tourist
attraction.
The trainride goes 20 miles into
the canyon and then retraces
back to Canon City.

The Royal Gorge Suspension
bridge.  At 1053 feet it is the
highest suspension bridge in
the world.
The bridge was built in 1923 at the
highest point of the canyon.  View

considered a class 4 white water
rafting river.
