President Nixon's Presidential
Library
The fountain in the front of the
library.
As you pass throught the front
door you are met by a giant
mural.
President Nixon's library is located in Yorba Linda, CA where he
was born.  It is about 20 miles from Disneyland.  This album covers
most of the inside of the library.
And a huge beautiful photo of
the first family.
After a brief documentary at
the theater you exit to a display
of a number of the fisrt ladies
dresses.
Almost all Presidential Libraries
have a mockup of the Oval Office.

of each.
President Nixon is credited with opening realationships and trade to
China.
President Nixon's early
career started in 1946.
He started to be noticed with
the Hiss case in 1948.
In 1950 he won a the seat for
Senator from California.  In
1952 Eisenhower picked him
for his running mate as Vice
President.
As Vice President he was
instrumental in passing the
Civil Rights Act
in 1957.
He runs for President in 1960
and loses to Kennedy.
He runs for Governor of
California in 1962 and loses.
He runs for President against
Humphery of in 1968 and
wins.
He runs for re-election
against McGovern of in 1972
and wins in a landslide.
