President Hoover was president from 1929 until 1933.  His library is
located in
West Branch, Iowa.

In 1891 Hoover entered Sanford
to learn mining engineering

Next he went to China.  He was
very successful and his employer
rewarded him with large sums of
money.
Hoover began his work as a humanitarian with the outbreak of WW I.
After the war Wilson put Hoover in
charge of the new Food Administration

Hoover called on the people to sacrifice
so the people of Europe could be fed

Hoover worked to harness the
Colorado with a dam

During the roaring 20's Wilson made him his Secretary of Commerce.
