The Museum building-was at first
an Abeline History Museum
The families entertainment
was around the piano.
The first section of the
museum is about the settling
of the west.
President Eisenhower's home
growing up from 1898 to 1911.  
In 1911 he was accepted into
West Point.
The Eisenhower Library is located in Abeline
Kansas.  It includes his boyhood home, the Museum,
the Library and the Meditation Center where the
gravesites are.  He was president from 1953 to 1961.
Five of the six boys slept in
the same room.
The entrance into the museum surrounds you with murals.
The parlor was closed off and only
used on formal family occasions.
Abeline was for awhile the destination of the cattle being
brought to market from Texas and Oklahoma.
Equipment used in D-day.  As the
commander of the allied forces
Ike lead the attack on D-day and
the defeat of Hitler.
Next the war is covered starting
with the attack on Poland.
