| Brazil has a population of 180 million located in an area 31 times larger than Colorado. It is the largest economy in South America. In area it is roughly the size of the US. The country is basically wilderness in the northern half (Amazon) and farmland (Mato Grasso area) in the south. The country has developed ethanal from cane surger. This has replaced oil as the principle source of energy in Brazil. |
