Ireland Album
The island of Ireland has 6 million people in an area a third the size of Colorado.  It has two
countries, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.  The people have been in a near civil war
between those (the Catholics) that want to unite into one country and those (the Protestants in
Northern Ireland) that want Northern Ireland to remain with the UK.  The Catholics are
represented by the political party Sinn Fein and the militant group IRA and the Protestants are
represented by the political party Unionist and the militant group Orange Order.  In Northern
Ireland the Protestant group is the majority so until they change their mind they will remain with
the UK.  The UK will allow the two countries to unify if they so chose.
