| Thailand has 68 million people in an area slightly smaller than twice the size of Colorado. They have a Constitutional Monarchy system of government with King Bhumibol Adulyadej as head of state. They have a Social Security system with retirement at age 55. The Social Security tax for employees is limited to $500 a year. Thailands income tax has huge deductions with the largest deduction starting with 40% of income tax free for every income level. The income tax rates after all the deductions are very low. They have a VAT tax of 7%. |
