Tasmania is a state of Australia.  It is an island 210 miles by 180
miles.  The population is 500,000 with most in the cities of Hobart
and Launceston.

south latitude.

After the Great Lake for 30 miles
the land was very baron and
brown from the drought.  The
farms were many miles apart.
