Oman Page Album
The day in Oman consisted of a 30 mile drive through the desert to the
city of Salalah.  We saw wild camels, dust devils and basically no
vegetation.  The most interesting was the market place.  Like no other
with such exotic things for sale.
The Museum of
Frankincense Land isn't as
interesting as the desert
area around it.  Here they
clear algae.
The Al Mughsayl park
has huge
rock outcroppings.
The Sultans Palace
The Market in Oman has
Frankincense, oils and
spices just like the trade
routes to India sold in the
middle ages.
There are herds of camels all
along the 30 mile stretch
from the cruise terminal to
the city of Salalah.
In the Gulf of Aden off the
coast of Oman we ran into
huge sea beds of algae.
