Oman Album
Oman has a population of 4.4 million people in an area 20% larger than
Colorado.  It is mostly desert.  The unemployment rate is 16%.  Oil
revenue pays for all education through college.  College is taught in
English so the students must know english to attend.
Camels are turned loose when
they are no longer of use.  There
were many along the road.
Oman is 17 degrees N latitude
which is 1173 miles north of the
equator.  
A very hot climate.
Oman is a huge oil exporter
with modern pipelines.

was very modern.
The cruise terminal is 30
miles from Salalah.

Every "souk" (shop) had
