Cyprus Album
Cyprus is an island country with a population of 1.1 million.  The island
is 3,500 sq mi in size.  We visited the city of Limassol population of
240,000.  In Limassol we did a circle walk of about 5 miles which went
along the waterfront and then back by way of the Old Town Market.
There is a play area for the kids.
The waterfront had a
wonderful walkway.
The waterfront was really a
very nice park.
Cyprus is located 34 degrees
N latitude which is 2,350
miles north of the equator.
In April it was around 70
degrees.

The St. Catherine Catholic Church is right across the street.
Soon an open mall with
shopping

Wi-Fi.
We find a very interesting
shop run by a Greek
Orthodox Priest.
He is giving demonstrations
of an incense burner.
This area is referred to as
the "Old Town Market".
Their food looked great but
what were they smoking.
The Greek Orthodox Cathedral is considered the most important church in Cyprus
and is referred to as the Church of Cyprus.
